Answer Options:
1. A depressed and sagging S-T.
2. A low T wave.
3. A low U wave.

Answer:
A depressed and sagging S-T.
A low T wave.

The classic ECG changes seen in hypokalemia are a depressed and sagging S-T
with a low T wave and a relatively high U wave.

Note:
When the S-T segment is not depressed, consider causes of relatively high
U waves other than low potassium (Fisch 1966).
